Microsoft authenticator app

Hi need to use the authenticator app on my Samsung S9+ to log into a secure company web page and the app produces the number but the web page says it's incorrect.

If I use my CAT S60 it works fine??

Cat is android 6.0.1

Samsung is android 10

Thanks for your responses I have now solved the problem it was quite simple.
I used the wrong account in the Google app store! My laptop was logged into a different Google account so the 2 devices were not synchronising.
So I uninstalled the app changed the store account re installed the app and it works 😊😁.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried removing that account from your authenticator app on the phone and adding it back again?
 
Ohh I've tried everything I can think of and been through the screen script with a Samsung "expert"
I believe it's something to do with the way the clock syncs.
But not sure
It's on Vodafone UK
 
Do you know if you can have multiple authenticator apps for that account? Can you dissociate all other authenticator apps except for the one on your S9, and then see if it works?
 
Make sure you have the time set to automatic. (I use the app for my bank web login, and once they set me up, I've never had a problem - on a Note 3 or a Pixel 2.)
