Microsoft sues Motorola in Germany again, claims Google Maps violates patent

Motorola isn't going to escape as cleanly as it would like from Microsoft's patent lawsuit campaign. Microsoft has sued Motorola once more in Germany, only this time it's waging a more direct fight against Motorola's owner Google. The lawsuit claims that Motorola devices violate a patent for taking map information from one set and overlaying it with data from another -- a technique that describes Google Maps, not to mention virtually every internet-connected mapping system we know.

Microsoft had better be careful they are not the most original thinking company in the world. The only thing that has kept them in business is they have had the dominant OS for years.

Well i like there titles idea which is i think most original thing they made :) (or else it copy from not from some minor project that i don't know ;p), WM7 is like Honeycomb/ICS for Android which gives UI and indentity, because WM before 7 was also chaotic in UI as Android, it something like iOS had since begining and both of them was missing and they both made soemthing original. I like MS idea because i like symplistic look of it yet i like how you got tiles on grid which you can modify and they have content depending what it is, it's like mixing icon with widget. People mostly hate it because fiasco (it looks like it will be) of forcing it to desktop user without much changes, in there place i would use it instead of desktop pulpt instead of start menu.
