Migrating S2 to S3

Hi there, I just got my new S III a couple of weeks ago after having previously owned an S I. I have transferred all my apps to my new phone by going into Google Play > My Apps. Your purchased apps will be stored here and you can install, uninstall or re-install all your apps to your new phone. I'm a bit of a newbie here too, so I'm not real experienced, but it worked ok for me. I think if you have kept the same phone number from your old phone, you should be able to transfer the apps no problem. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm not 100% correct here.

Rajapee is correct. Just go to the Play Store and all your apps will be listed under My Apps when you sign in.

When you registered your GS3 using your Google account/email the device will show up in the Play Store.

From there you can easily reinstall any app you've previously downloaded or purchased.

Galaxy Note! Phone. Tablet. Planner. Notepad. eReader. The only device I need!

If you have synced Google, just turn on the gsIII and it asks you to sign into your Google account. It will automatically sync contacts and start downloading apps you had installed. As long as they are compatible.

When I checked for Google Sync, I found I didn't have it. The S2 isn't listed as one of the phones Google syncs to.
