I'm a big fan of Android, but sometimes I just have to throw my hands in the air and....

So I get in my truck, plug in my phone and head down the road... and then I see something like "Could not connect to Android Auto, please look at your phone when it is safe to do so". I pull over and grab my phone and the Android Auto app is showing me an ad for Play Music All Access. It did this twice today.

Google, sometimes you suck!

This is only needed for initial set up (or when you got an update). I don't see why this is a big deal.

I don't recall getting an update to Android Auto. Has there been one in the last 48hrs?

I guess "big deal" is relative. With regard to the real world this is certainly not a big deal. I just keep seeing more little nagging issues with Android Auto that are starting to make it more convenient to just not connect to it. While I believe some of them are bugs, this one was clearly premeditated.
