I was hopeful for a brief second when I saw the message. It seems they are taking the time to iron out the bugs, and I'm happy to wait for Lollipop.

Always better. Been checking for the Lollipop update on my dad's Moto X (2013) every day for about a week now. Nothing there either

This update was part of a soak test originally. All it really does is add that auto movie making feature in the gallery where it groups similar pictures (usually by date I think) and turns them into a short video. It's in the gallery app and is called highlights.

I take that back. The soak test description described this auto video making feature but I just looked in the gallery and highlights just basically groups the photos by date. Not sure where that new feature is. I'm thinking I may not have gotten the new soak test update and this is just the same one released recently to everybody.
