Mint eats mobile data much faster than VZW. Why?

[Android Central Question]

I switched from Verizon to Mint a month ago. I kept my Verizon Samsung A50 phone, which is compatible. At Verizon i had 5Gb but never exceeded 3gb a month. At Mint, my plan's 4Gb of data is eaten up at roughly 2x the rate of Verizon. I'm not doing anything differently. Any idea what's going on?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the phone's Data Usage menu in the system settings and see if there are any apps that are using an unusually large amount of mobile data.
