AC Question

I'm cleaning out my phone for an upcoming trip where I will be taking lots of pictures and video, and am having trouble finding out where approximately 18GB of my phone storage is located.

I have a Galaxy S6. When I look at my Device Memory, it tells me that I have 18.51GB of files in my Miscellaneous files. However, when I click on Misc files, I am given a breakdown of files which add up to less than 100MB. I have a Mac, and using Android File Transfer I was unable to find where these files are stored.

See this imgur album for screenshots of the Device Memory and Misc Files: imgur.com/a/z7nK6

I've looked through many similar threads, and it has either turned out to either be System Memory or RAW image files taking up the space. My System Memory takes up 9GB, and I was unable to find any RAW image files, so there should be, at worst, 9GB I can free up from my phone.

Does anyone have advice or feedback? Let me know if you need more information.

Mod Note, I will move this to the s6 forum for more visibility
