Missed call notification not showing - Am I the only one?

Hey techies,

I have noticed from past couple of weeks that if I miss a call, the notification would not show up until i unlock the phone. Once i unlock the phone, the notification would stay till i swipe it away, otherwise there will be no notification on AOD display.

All my notification settings seem to be fine.

Anyone else facing this issue?

There was a thread on this not long ago. I did have this issue but it is now working as it should. Is your phone up to date on updates?

Yes, phone got the latest security patch i.e. for April.

Same deal here along with plenty of other missed notifications.

As soon as I turn on the screen the notifications all come flying in straight away.

Is it due to battery saving? My Note 20 Ultra does the same thing; notifications come in as soon as I turn on the screen. It kind of defeats the purpose if it doesn't notify me until I'm looking anyway...

Try clear cache in recovery , or clear the phone data and force stop .

Can you help me with the steps to clear cache in recovery? The last phone that i rooted was HTC U11... And its been years now ..lol

You know, the same thing has been happening on my S10 as of late, when I get a missed call. It'll show up when I unlock my phone, but not until then. Or, it'll work as it should. Odd.
