Missed Calls, Messages and Emails

My GS3 always says I have 1 missed call, 3 messages and 4 emails. It's been stuck like this for months and never changes. I was hoping that updating to JB would fix the problem but no such luck. Anybody else have, or hear of this issue?

Lmaoo. Idk what's wrong with it but it sounds stupid. Lol. So when you click in each if these apps it says that or in the notification pull down? Or on top the app with one of those launcher unread notification things

It says it on top of the actual app icon in the little red circles. It doesn't show up in the notification shade or anywhere else.

And I definitely agree that its stupid. I can't find anything anywhere about anyone else having this problem. I'd like to avoid a factory reset but I think it's the only option I have left.
