Missing apps

I keep realizing that apps are not only missing from folders, but from my app drawer too. I think it's happening when I restart my phone, but why?

Anyone else notice this?

I'm not sure if the LG G3 lets you do this but are your apps installed on the SD Card? If so, that might be the issue if you restart and the card unmounts.

Also, idle apps might get removed from the app tray, or at least their icons. Check for them in Update Centre, App Updates, scrolling down to the bottom.

May also be hidden.. I know on a few different phones there is an option to "hide" icons in the app drawer

Sent using my Verizon Turbo charged 64GB Ballistic Nylon phone unfortunately with a case on back

I haven't put them on the SD card because I had trouble doing that with my s3, they just didn't work well, couldn't use widgets etc, so I haven't even tried with the LG. I've looked in my apps (installed, running, etc) in settings are they're literally gone. I've had to go back and install again... I don't think I could do that if they were hidden somewhere, right?

For whatever reason this phone deletes apps on its own.

Thank you for the ideas!

I guess that begs the question then... Do apps automatically go straight to SD? I haven't moved a single one over manually.

I've had similar problems. The LG smart cleaner app removes apps not used. Have to check only ones you don't use.

It's definitely Smart Cleaner. I've had to download a few apps again because smart cleaner will delete them if not used in a certain amount of time. I thought it was supposed to kill any running apps so be careful what you have checked/unchecked.
