Title says it all...

No Market App. One thread will said to root and push it over, but I cannot do that as it is not my phone.

What other solutions are there?

What other solutions are there?

1) Is it all apps?
2) Paid apps only?
3) or just one app that you can't find?

If it's #2, there's an app in the Market called Eris Market Fix. It worked for me when this happened.

Also, try reading this thread.

Or is it the entire Market browsing app that's missing?

You could see if AppBrain works, but if not you probably have to factory reset.

My buddy is having the same problem. He's not too savy and I showed him how to update to Froyo and now this, kinda feel bad. Can't find Android Market app anywhere. Whats the best way to back up everything before doing a factory reset?

Backs up automatically!

I mean, all your photo's are on your SD card (as well with your videos)

All your apps, and such are in the market

Everything saves itself to your google account.

Heck, even your WIFI's password.
