Missing "Move Apps" when I try to move icons (Galaxy S7)

When I try to move multiple icons on my Galaxy S7 home screen, it no longer has the "Move Apps" option at the top. Instead, it has an option to select icons, but I prefer the other method.

I'm not sure if it's something I changed, or if it was part of an update, so I am unsure when it changed.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you're having trouble figuring out what I am referring to, just let me know. I will try to explain it with more details if possible.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Generally speaking, "move apps" refers to moving the physical storage location (I.e. To the SD card). Moving the icons around doesn't move the app itself, only how the icons are displayed.

I don't have any personal experience with that phone, but if you could clarify what it is you're trying to accomplish (moving the app storage location, rearranging the icons, or something else), one of us may be able to give more direct advise.

It sounds like the OP wants to select a group of app icons to relocate en masse on the homescreen?

Yes. In an earlier version of android on the Galaxy S7, you could hold down on an icon, and there would be a section you could drag and drop multiple icons at once, on top of the home screen.
You could then go to any page on your home screen and drag them from that section and place them where ever you wanted to, easily.

I see. In that case, it's most likely a change related to a system update (I'm guessing Pie).

Yeah, I've been trying to find out how to get it back, or turn it back on if an update disabled it.
I just have trouble on how to phrase the search term, though.

If anyone knows what im reffering to and can maybe give some information on it, i'd be very thankful.

In any case, I want to thank everyone that has tried to help me with it.
