just got this last night from microsoft store. unlocked.

took my note 9 sim card out, put in N10+, and working like normal, instantly. smartswitch transfered all from N9 to N10+.

But - NO VM app anywhere. really, it's not to be found. not in the verizon app folder. not after turning phone off/on a few times. not after an update to phone installed this morning.

The playstore doesn't even give me an app option to download when i search for ''voicemail'' - only gives 3rd party options, like youmail, etc

I really can't find it anywhere. called Verizon, and after getting shuttled to other upper levels of support, even they couldn't find it.

anyone else have any suggestions of where to look to find the good ol VM app icon?

ps - yes, i can call my VM and use it that way. when i trans'd over all stuff from my N9 to N10+, even my old VM password transfered without issue.

pps - i was never prompted to setup VM on the new N10+

thanks

Unlocked model here using on Verizon. It's not installed by default, but once you get a voicemail you will be promoted to download the voicemail app. So call your number from another phone and leave a voicemail to see if that works. I think there were discussions about this on the Verizon vs unlocked thread.

turns out i had to ''allow'' unknown apps. found a setting for this, and all of a sudden, the voicemail app/icon appeared. had nothing to do with new voicemails being needed.
