I had I humidity alarm, which was preventing me to charge the phone.

After cleaning the connector I could still charge only when phone was off.

I decided to do the factory reset. To do that I was going to move all pictures on memory card.

I was deleting some pictures in gallery then I was checking albums. And my logic was that I made some albums by mistake from pictures, so I deleted all in albums.

In next moment I figured out that also all from "pictures" disappeared.

I returned to trash, selected all and clicked on restore.

But now in "pictures" mostly all is missing.

Where are now this images?

(when I am checking the storage I may see 9,9 GB of "Photos and videos" is present as info)

(I did not empty or delete the trash.)

Welcome to Android Central! I assume these were photos taken by the phone's camera, right? Look in the /DCIM/Camera directory, not the /Pictures directory.

I have just add image where you may see 9.9 GB of space taken of memory for Photos and videos.

But still... where is this located?

I mentioned in my previous post to look in the /DCIM/Camera directory. Have you looked there yet with a file manager app?

I was following Your link. And did the installation. But the button for open doesn't become active. Something is preventing the normal installation routine at the end.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean for you to install the app -- was just wondering if you already had it installed, since that app has been known to be associated with persistent storage usage by deleted files.

Where's the Trash function you're using? Is it in the Gallery app or the My Files app, or somewhere else?

The Trash bin in the Gallery is empty now? And those restored pics don't show up in the Gallery app at all either?
