Missing productivity icon

I have held down icons on snote, I've read other suggestions, but I do not have an icon to create the first icon or the productivity icon in s note. Mine starts...left to right...with the drawing icon, the text icon, the eraser, an undo icon redo icon and that's it. I am missing the icons that display in Samsungs tutorial and can't get them to display. Help! I very much want to use write to text feature of my phone.
