Can someone else with T-MOBILE confirm. Here is my screen shot. Nothing there.

It's not on the T-Mobile version. I have no idea why, or if it will be added in an update. But it's definitely not there.

So strange that T-Mobile would do that.

I sure hope they are not going to cause delays in OS and Security updates. Uurrrgghhh

Too late I'm afraid. Global, unbranded users, have had 2 full, 1.64Gb, firmware updates since launch and are now on OOS 9.0.6 whilst the T-Mobile carrier minority variant is, I believe, still on OOS 9.0 and have had a 132MB patch since launch. Both models are on Android security patch level 1 November 2018, AFAIK.

Yep, still on OOS 9. Freaking carriers always F things up. Very disappointing.

This may cheer up T-Mobile 6T users... they have Google Discover as opposed to the, "Shelf", feature on the global model. See...

OnePlus 6T Google Discover (formerly Feed) option exclusive to T-Mobile model — for now

On the down side... the T-Mobile is, by nature of its differences, not eligible for the OnePlus Open Beta programme. See...

No Open Beta for T-Mobile (USA) 6T variants

I'll trade the convenience and service getting a carrier phone, when possible, anytime versus dealing with a phone mfg..There is no bloat on the tmobile version, so I am fine with it..

security updates will be timely, and who cares about being on 9.06 versus 9.0? whats on 9.06 that is so ground breaking versus 9.0 that you feel you "must" have?

Peoples obsession with "updates" is just silly, unless its a critical update, which carriers usually are very good about..

Fair points. Just strange they removed such a feature. Has to be a reason why.

Samsung is about 4 security updates per year max. Scary when a new bad ubiquitous malware comes out. Which is why I went to Google. Tomorrow is Monday - update day.
