Missing shortcut keys?

Just got a G6 and I am missing two shortcut keys.

1) Launch camera quickly when your screen is on
2) Take quick notes by pressing volume up key twice when the phone is locked

Well, 1 seems to be not available at all.

I see other blogs talking and demoing 2 but I dont have that option in the Shortcut Keys.

Mine is a T-Mobile G6 - Am I missing something?

Got the 2nd one working. Had to install QuickMemo+ for it to work.

Any idea about 1st query?

I want to launch the camera even when the screen is on like in S8 and U11 where I can press the power key twice to launch camera anytime?

I am surprised G6 has very limited support for shortcut keys. They have all you need but have not implemented shortcut keys!!

Quick Memo+ is a battery hog. It's an awesome app to have but not worth the battery drain. On the Quick Camera when the phone is off double tap the volume down button and there you go.

Thanks! I am looking for a shortcut key that I can use to launch the camera even when the screen is on.

I use the Nova Launcher and I have it set to double tap the screen for camera when it's on.
