Missing slide to call/answer feature

I can''t answer a call due to the non movement of slide in my Samsung Galaxy S5. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure you're swiping it in the right direction? If you're swiping from side to side, try swiping up instead, or vice-versa.
