missing tone

when I launch the google app, then tap microphone, it used to play a one note tone. Suddenly, the tone stopped. Cannot find how to turn it back on.

I tried on my Flip 4 no tone when hitting the mic in Google app also maybe they gone away with it , im on Android 13
