Wow, I’m getting frustrated with my disobedient Redmi device.
I want delete these following packages, but they just not uninstall and keep coming back!!
Package names:
com.android.browser.Browser
com.android.fileexplorer.FileExplorerApplication
com.android.updater.Application
com.google.android.apps.play.movies.mobile.MobileVideosApplication
com.google.android.apps.tachyon.TachyonApplication
com.mipay.wallet.app
com.mipay.wallet.id
com.miui.micloudsync.Application
com.miui.miservice.common.launcher.ModuleApplication
(and more...)

These stupid apps keep reappearing each reboot.
Even the package folders keep coming back!
Anybody help me? ADB is also failing.

I also see many unused system apps in Files by Google.
It doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Mi Pay is not used in the UK but the barebones are there doing nothing data or battery wise.
I never logged in to the Mi browser (which it demands before using it) so it stays dormant and any links I click go to Chrome or Edge by default.

Most of those "apps" use very minimal storage.

I could uninstall many full apps out of the box, such as Facebook, Booking. com, LinkedIn, and also Google Music etc.
Facebook leaves a fingerprint of 3 small system apps behind.

There has been an issue with lower tier, budget Redmi models where you could not uninstall some feature apps, or maybe you just could not turn off advertising completely by going to several settings. However I'm not sure if that's the case with their higher priced models anymore.
I have a 2020 Poco F2 Pro which was high spec at the time.

The Security App with storage cleaning, basic Avast security sweeping etc I found just fun to use and watch the spinning graphics. I'm sure once I eventually get a life I won't play with it as much. You get a Security icon notification occasionally (not sure if it disables) but it generally leaves me alone. Again some cheaper Redmi models may be different.

I don't root so have no interest in fiddling with it. Mine has been a great device, though I'm having a couple of problems recently.

I totally agree with Madd62.
I'm currently using the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5g running the new HyperOS.
Yes, there are several system apps that I don't want or use but cause me no trouble whatsoever.
Just enjoy your device and ignore
You guys are awesome
