MIUI Theme port ??

Found a MIUI theme but seems really old.
here is the original thread by the creater ADUB MIUI Theme

Flashing from recovery doesn't work as I expected. Any suggestions on how to port this theme over to our phones??

Using Drew's stable build btw if that info is needed.

Any pointer in the right direction would be much appreciated

Try this one, it's made for theme chooser. Just unzip onto your sdcard and install the apk. You will need your status bar modded to get the transparency.

I bookmarked this theme this morning. Will give that a try now. Thanks though.

a little question on the theme I linked above. If you look at the screens (1 big image actually), are the 1st and 3rd screens dropdown status bar or usual screen with really big icons??

I mena I was wondering if he got some applications on the status dropdown bar. Question sounds really stupid to me but asking anyway :|

EDIT: Guess its jus big icons and power control widget. Right?

Those are just 2x2 widgets made with desktop visualizer and placed on the home screens.

Did you guys try this one. MIUI Launcher by Vipitus [APP][Android 1.5+] MIUI Launcher 3.1 (based on QQLauncher) - xda-developers

Its bloody awesome, looks exactly like MIUI in terms of almost everything.
Even has proper folders and Faster Switching (toggles) widget

AFAIK this is the nearest we can get to MIUI on a CM7 ROM.

Will they ever get a miui rom for r phone I like all the themes but a rom would awsome?
an iv herd if we have a cm7 rom working on r phone that we should be able to get miui working on are phones.

The launcher wouldn't be bad if the apps would be in alphabetical order!!!! Its pretty annoying the way all the apps are sorted. I have 75 apps and its pretty hard to find them when there all over the place!! Lol.

Do you have to have QQ Launcher to use it? Or does it come with the app?

Launcher is not all in english but its not bad I just installed it like 2-3 hrs ago still trying to figure things out on it an get use to it
edit: I like it just some reason my phone app and contact app are the same icon pic an I cant figure out how to change it to a phone icon

You can't change it! Oh well back to the best launcher I've used! LAUNCHER PRO.

You don't need any other launcher for this to work.
Its a modded version of QQ launcher itself.

Do you know how to change the icon pic cus my phone an contact icon are the same

I browsed through the thread and looks like the problem will persist unless he mods the files further (unlikely).

Anyway, to me, both phone and contacts serve the same purpose, to call someone. I kept the one which is right and moved the other to a diff screen and replaced that space in dock with music icon.
atleast you wont have 2 similar looking icons in the same screen,

True but I use a music 4x4 widget but ill do that I might just leave it with 3 icones. Anythinh els that I can do that I mught want to know about since youve used it or still do?

long press on the folder name then touch it, the keyboard will show up.....

also, the phone apk and contacts apk are the same hence why the icon is the same....

also you could try my Miui theme...I haven't released this version yet but why not

this will only work on mdpi phones like ours at the moment.....
