I tried to buy this app in the store and it says not compatible with my device? What the hell not? This has me quite upset, I was hoping to listen to games while its slow at work. Grrrr......

Wow. Now I am annoyed. I just ordered this phone and it shipped out today. Not happy to hear this. If it works on my rooted Nook Color, I would expect it to work on the Rezound.

Looks like it is compatible is purchased from the Amazon App Store but not the Google Market. Who knows why...

I'm confused as I thought I purchased mine through the Google market, not Amazon.

What's not supported on the Rezound is live video. Which is just stupid, as the Rezound is a more capable phone that just about every phone that's listed as compatible.

This happened to me last year, too: I had a DROID Charge, and it wasn't compatible, and I couldn't watch live video on my phone. So I got a Rezound, and this year, the Charge IS shown as compatible, but the Rezound isn't so I'm stuck.

There's one game every day that's free to watch in MLB At Bat, IF your phone's supported.

Use the feedback feature in the app to bug MLB to add the Rezound to the list of phones that are allowed to view video!

Correct...

Make every effort to report in the feedback area on MLB.

Tell them you want the Rezound added to devices.

I downloaded it from the market and have used it. The only issue is that the Rezound is not listed as capable to allow you to stream live games. Very interesting given you can do it on older phones like an inc 2 and the TBolt.

At least we can listen to audio (which I mainly use it for when walking home from work), but I do hope they add video soon. Like others suggested, I added another voice to the feedback email in the app!

Are any of you guys rooted? I know I was able to changed the build.prop on my Nook color last year to think it was another device and MLB at bat allowed video streaming after that where it wouldn't before. Just curious if you tried that. When I get mine, I will root it and try. Was going to wait on the rooting but without being able to backup my wifi access points, it's no use, I might as well root as I rely on those. I'm NOT re entering them.

MLB At Bat12 works perfect on the Rezound bought from both sources. but i would tell you to bu it from Amazon App Store, if you have more than 1 device. purxhased through google, the checkout process starts when you download and install the app. on Amazon App Store, you pay for it and can install later. this means you can select and pay for it from Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more and then open App Store on any device and just click install. works great on Rezound and also have it on Kindle Fire.

Then why did the market tell me its incompatible?

I have it now but I had problems before I got it.

Audio works.... But the PREMIUM MLB which provides a live video feed of games does NOT work on the Rezound.

So is the consensus still that video from MLB 12 does not work on Rezound? If so that is so weird as the NFL that comes pre-loaded works so amazingly well on this device.

No, that's not the consensus. There are a few guys watching games with At Bat 12 on their Rezound. You need the premium subscription to MLB and you need the build.prop changes on your phone and it works great.

Just checked the app tonight and video is now working for all games with a Premium subscription.

Just to clarify, I just activated my Rezound today, downloaded the free at bat and activated my MLB.TV premium account and I can watch the games just fine. I am NOT rooted......yet, but will be soon so I can spoof my location to get around the blackout restrictions :)

Edit...Apparently you DON'T have to be rooted to spoof your location. Location spoofer allows me to watch my favorite team inside the blackout zone when I'm not at home in front of my TV :)

This is all correct.... The HTC Rezound is now activated for Live Video with the MLB,TV premium sub....

You don't have to uninstall and re-install the AT BAT Lite.... The video option just appears in the upper right hand corner...
