MMS App Needed: I GIVE UP

Ok. So, I have my phone flashed to Pageplus. I have the bootloader unlocked via htcdev.com . I give up on trying to get MMS to work via the sense app as well as via handcent. I've tried setting up the APN settings as best I can to mimic the settings for Verizon. It just doesn't work. I feel like stabbing a pencil in my 6th eye!

So, having said all of that, can someone tell me an app where I can input the settings for Verizon MMS into the phone and get the stuff to work correctly? Thanks!

That's what I ended up installing. I was hoping there were other suggestions because I really don't like the UI for that app. It works so I really can't do much more than use it since I can't get handcent to work.

Also, a lot of that wasn't necessary to get MMS to work on my phone. I didn't have to change the ports or proxies. I just put in the URL into the MMS settings and called it a day.

Oh son!! That actually works in stock MMS apps, too. Nice!! Thanks for the find! Now, if you can help me find an easy way to root this phone. I used to root way back when I first got my evo 4G gen 1 but have gotten lazy now.

That's weird. All of a sudden, I was able to receive but no one was getting my mms. I just went through this video again and I found that the settings had reverted back to the normal sprint settings. Is there a way to make them stick or do I have to change them everytime?

Nope. I never got rooted. Now, even though I've changed the settings back to these, when I send out, no one is getting the mms messages but I can still receive them. I was thinking that I was out of data on my el-cheapo plan ($39.99) with Page Plus but I turned off wifi and was able to surf (ever so slowly) on 3G. I don't know what else to try at this point.

You have Boost in your area ? They seem to have a decent unlimited plan. Its fairly easy to flash if you have to info from the donor.

no boost in my area. i actually flash phones on the side and offer a service. i've never had this many problems with a phone before. i usually get it done pretty fast and over. this is my personal phone and I wanted to get it totally working on Verizon's service including real 3G and no just the 3G symbol popping up.

Yeah i just bought CDMA WS and started flashing to boost myself
