MMS Download Issue - Nexus S

I'm having issues with mms downloading automatically. Sometimes the pics come through automatically and other times they won't. When they do not, it prompts me to download the file. Even then they will not always download on their own. Generally, I have to do a battery pull to fix the situation.

Any ideas on what the issue might be?

I have been having the same issues. It happens every time i open a MMS. For some strange reason, every time I try and download it using my 3g connection, my 3g will completely disconnect, I have tested this about a dozen times.

Are you on Android 2.3.3?

I'm not running 2.3.3. I've tried to manually update, but I kept getting errors. So i decided to wait for the OTA update.

Oh. Well this might be part of the SMS bug, maybe a MMS bug. It is supposed to be fixed in 2.3.3. Update to Android 2.3.3 this will help you update to Android 2.3.3

Same with mine but I'm on nexus s 2.3.4 and sometimes I receive blank texts or takes forever to download
