mms group messages showing wrong timestamp

I noticed this issue after the latest os update to BUKF

using Samsung messages app, when getting text messages from iphone users in a group, some messages comes in with the wrong time stamps (about 6 hours later). Very weird and frustrating.

Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution? Using Google messages for the time being as it doesnt happen with that app, but I do like samsung messages

which carrier? try contacting your carrier and see if they can help

or submit an error report after replicating the issue

I'm with T-Mobile. unlocked s21. I was thinking about that, but the fact that Google messages does not show the same issue leads me to believe it's Samsung messages?

tbh.. the sending feedback is useless as I've tried other issues before with no solution nor follow ups

Can also try resetting the Samsung message app by clearing data then force stop it
