MMS images on SGS3

If you receive an mms on your Samsung Galaxy S III, can you stretch (expand, blow up, make bigger) the image?

If so, how? I've tried various ways, and can never seem to get it to work. Thanks

Yes, pinch to zoom or double tap. It sounds as if yours is not functioning?

I think it has to do with the type\size of images that are received...

exactly, some apps/carriers will resize a pic, so what your getting isn't the original at times, hence you may not be able to zoom all in and out like on a normal image..
