Mms instead of text message

I send a message to my daughter and it come back in delivered try using a text message instead I was like but it was a text message

How do you see if it's a text or a MMS I'm sending please X.

Note 10 plus 5g only had a week

Are you using Samsung Messages, Google Messages, or something else? Can you show us a screenshot of that exact error message? Make sure to block out any identifying information before you post it.

The only reasons your text would be converted to MMS would be if you're sending media (i.e., a photo or video), if it's a group text, or if the message exceeds 160 characters. (I think emojis might convert it to MMS as well.)

Hi sorry forgot to get back to you I was using stick messages from Samsung and I've gone to settings and made sure mms was turned off seem to have solved jt x

You turned off MMS? Keep in mind that you won't be able to send/receive photos or group messages, then.

Yeah thank you I use WhatsApp for sending pictures as via MMS it's like 30p a pic and sometimes my grand daughter is in 100s lol
