"Mobile data" category on WiFi Xoom???

Because the battery life went from crazy super-good to so-so, I was monitoring the settings-> about tablet-> battery use. What exactly is "mobile data" on a WiFi-only Xoom? It consumed 17% of my battery! WiFi used only 5%.

I noticed that too. I'm pretty sure it started with 3.1

I feel the same way i think 3.1 messed up the battery life.
