Mobile Data Issue

I'm not sure if this is a common Android issue, or specific to my device/carrier.

Since I've had this phone, mobile data is so spotty. When I'm on a call, no data, randomly and most of the time, no data. Is there a solution for this or something I'm missing?

I came from BB10 which was constantly providing mobile data and I almost want to snap this phone in half because it feels like every time I want to do something that requires mobile data it doesn't work.

ANY suggestion would be appreciated. I just updated to 6.0 this morning and I almost want to say it's worse. It's almost as if when I don't have LTE I have no data. I haven't seen this sub-par behaviour for years.

I think people need more data to help you. What carrier. What model phone and your location would help

This ended up being a weird carrier issue that was resolved on the tech support end
