Mobile data/wifi switching. Help.

I've noticed my honor 8 isn't switching off mobile data when I connect to WiFi and I can't find the setting to make it do this, anyone know where to find it?

Does that device have "smart switch"?

Smart network switch.. It just means it will jump back to mobile network if the WiFi isn't very strong. There may also be a settings in developer options to keep mobile data turned on regardless...

I have seen these options. I meant that I want the mobile data to turn off automatically when I turn wifi on. I don't want it to automatically switch back to mobile data based on WiFi strength.

Hi,

do you know if it's configurable as: do switch to wifi only at a given minimum signal quality level ?
because in certain building's floor, this feature is a trap : the phone is switched to wifi whereas the signal is to low, and wifi+ takes dozens of seconds to switch back to 4g...
