I get 15gb of free 4g Hotspot a month.

How can I check how much Hotspot data I have used within Note 9 settings?

I can't find it there nor even in the Verizon wireless app.

Thanks!

There's no native Hotspot 'meter' in the phone (that would be on Verizon's app or their site... However, I cannot offer insight into that since I'm on T-Mobile). You can get an estimate if you go to Connections/Data usage/Mobile data usage and search for the Hotspot process, but that might not be a fully accurate count and your carrier might meter things differently.

This is on an AT&T S20 FE, but it should be similar. At least my S9 is similar.

"Settings" > "Connections" > "Data usage" > "Mobile data usage" > there should be a list of apps below the usage graph (which shows all mobile data from every app), scroll down past the ones that are "restricted" if any, and find "Mobile Hotspot and Tethering". That should show how much the phone says you used. The gear at the top lets you set the billing cycle. Mine resets on the 4th of every month.

That's exactly what I tried but Mobile Hotspot wasn't on the very long list.

Never mind. It must take some time to record it. I just checked again and it was the top on the list at .5gb Still have 14.5 to go until the 21st so I'm ok.

Thanks! I never would have checked twice if you didn't mention it.
