Mobile Hotspot

My S9 Plus mobile hotspot is now only 5 gig and appears on 5 gig devices so I know the hotspot is working. It is no longer visible on devices that are 2.4 gig only. I also have an S8 Plus and that works fine same carrier. This causes a problem because my vehicle WiFi is only 2.4 gig. Can someone confirm this is correct, if anyone has any idea's how to get the mobile hotspot back to 2.4 gig it would be much apricated.

If it's a vehicle issue .. you would have to reach out to your dealer for a update??? What kind of vehicle??

I just used the vehicle as an example it only appears / connects to 5 gig compatible devices.

Have you checked all the settings? My S9+ has been able to connect to anything.

There aren't any options in the phone's mobile hotspot settings (in the system settings) that allow you to choose the wi-fi frequency?

Thanks I just realized you have to slide up to see those settings. It's been driving me nuts for a week. Now I have traffic, weather, calendar and wireless android auto all working. All I needed was to change from 5 to 2.4 gig and it the automobile connected first try.
