Mobile Network Mode

After the 4.1.2 update I believe that my phone reverted to the Global Network mode. For all around use, in 4G areas, which is better: Global or LTE/CDMA?

Global is to use the gsm network when traveling abroad for example. If you're staying in the US I would just leave it on CDMA/LTE.
