Mobile Network Question

If I set my Mobile Network option to CDMA/LTE versus just CDMA, am I using more battery power constantly searching for an LTE signal? I set mine to CDMA only the day I got my Note 2 since I'm quite sure my area won't be seeing LTE for a long time to come.

Don't know how much effect it will have on battery (probably only minor), but I set my network to CDMA only since there was zero reason to search for non-existent 4G where I am.

I let mine search for the LTE since I have it here and I still can pull a full day of battery on my phone......assuming I don't use it really heavily that day. I average around 18 hour easy for my use.
