Mobile Standby

Hi all

I purchased this phone a week ago and I have to say I'm impressed with the overall package. However one thing that has baffled me is the mobile standby percentage. Its the highest consuming battery user. I work in London so travelling underground I expect the signal to go etc. But looking at the images it shows that its on for majority of the day. As I'm writing I'm at 64% which to my surprise is good considering it was disconnected from the charger at 7 this morning. Could this just be a glitch in the software or do I have something to be worried about???

On a completely separate note does anyone know of any good cases for the phone. I can't seem to find anything relatively nice.

Your phones radio is on standby making contact with the network. Nothing to worry about as long as you don't see mega price effects on the battery.

Regarding the case, are you looking for something rugged or slim?

Oh OK that had me worried that it was constantly looking for a signal and would eventually have a adverse effect on the battery. In terms of the case looking for something slim. I've got a very basic gel case on at the moment and was looking for something better look wise and protection wise. None of the big companies make cases for this phone.

Just noticed today. Can't be right? I knew this was causing issues (previous post) but surely this is a glitch in the software. Anyone else experience this? My battery has lasted me all day and I've only put it on charge late at night.

Your time on battery is outstanding so something has to take up the % that the battery is using. For instance, even if you were sleeping and not burning many calories, your heart beating might take up 60% of the calories you used, even though the actual calories burned might not be a lot since you were sleeping. Make sense?

Doesn't look like there is any unusual drain at all - I'd give anything to have that kind of battery performance! Post your Screen on Time as an additional screenshot next time so we can evaluate that.

So I guess this is all fine! Im surprised. Mobile standby today is at 5%.
