A provider website says they are compatible with Samsung S8+ model number SMG955UZ. In my 'About Phone' section it says model number is SMG955U.

Does the missing Z matter?
Is that really the same?

UZ looks like Verizon model

It looks like the G955U variant doesn't support Band 13, which is Verizon's main LTE band. It does support Bands 2, 4, and 5, but the lack of Band 13 support might impact LTE performance in some areas. The G955UZ variant does support Band 13.

This is for my husband's phone. It was being used with Verizon and now looking at what's compatible with Visible. I'm reading that G955UZ is what is used best for Verizon ... yet that's what we had using G955U. Hmmm, I'm pretty certain its compatible with Visible also. I appreciate the responses!!

Right, Visible uses Verizon's network.
