Mods baked into roms?

Im a noob first of all. This is my first thread I was wondering how many of these mods that I see, such as amphetamines and V6 turbo charger, are already included in some of these roms? Im running backside and it's always been very fast and snappy.

Simple, check the change logs/feature lists.. That usually tells the story as to what the devs have thrown in ingredients speaking when they cooked up their ROM.

Yeah, I figured thats the next step in my progression of understanding this stuff. The whole script, code, log thing. SCARY! You start with a flash here a recovery there, then you get obsessed.

Take your time.. Your in a good Optimus forum here, LeslieAnn and the rest of the devs are top notch and will provide you with some of the best.

Research, read and re-read... Ask questions before you flash if ever unsure and things will be fine

I ve probably read every thread on here lol.... No seriously I have. And ya know, the dev are so good, that if was going to improve they're rom that much its probably already baked in.

For what it's worth, most of the scripts that are run in the amphetamines mod are already included in most of the IHO roms. The 3g tweaks I've seen will apply to GSM phone and do nothing for CDMA phones.

On IHO the amphetamines well slow up your boot time as it adds scripts the etc > init.d folder, and all but one does nothing and the one that work overrides what is built into the build.prop.

Interesting. I tried CM9 for a day or so. It was kinda laggy and alot of fc's. I bet amphetamines would improve that somewhat. What do you think?

Nope. Cm9 is laggy because its in alpha. It will improve with each build. The problems are not from lack of speed.

Are there any other flashable mods other than amphetamines? I've looked around and only found the v6 charger, which doesn't seem worth the trouble. I also have Leslies wipe flashes, which will come in handy. Im a flash junkie. It all I can do at this point lol.
