Mom phone

My mom wants a phone with a touchscreen, that doesn't require a data plan...and preferably one that doesn't suck a lot.....any ideas folks?

Within what price range? Most phones are touchscreen now so that doesn't really narrow it down much

Try the straight talk phones at walmart.

I would try to explain to her that most of the things that make touch screen phones so great require a data plan. Most of the touchscreen feature phones are not good. She should either stick with a basic phone or get a smartphone with a data plan. She will be happier than with a touchscreen feature phone with no data.

I would also suggest a prepaid plan if she doesn't want to pay too much. Any phone that is a touchscreen, to my knowledge is a smartphone, and all carriers will require a data plan.
