Moment slowing down a lot

I've had my moment for about 3 months now, and it's begining to get really slow. So slow that I type faster than it can put the text on the screen. I've rebooted, uninstalled most of the apps I don't use, use Task Killer to close down any things that may be running in the back ground, etc.

What's the deal? I've never had a phone do this before.

few possibilities:
1) bloatware: either Root to remove OR purchase StartUpAuditor from the market to prevent these apps from running
2) clear all Cache data from all apps
3) virus?: download Norton mobile security--scan your phone. if you download alot of apps, even those that are from "unknown developers" (which must be manually-checked to be able to download) then you might have a virus or spyware/malware running on your phone in the background
4) you have multiple home screen applications running at the same time (ie ADW launcher) that are using up all of the phone CPU
5) background data CAN slow down the phone. disable both background & auto-sync (attempt to browse internet or write a text message---if no lag in keyboard response, then you know it's your Data-intense sync that's slowing you down)

my moneys on 2 or more home replacement apps. just uninstalled adw and launcher pro. they both take up too much juice to run on our moments
