If you're unable to receive MMS messages, are you certain your mobile data is on? If it is, then make sure your APN settings are correct for your carrier: https://www.androidcentral.com/what-apn-and-how-do-i-change-it Since I'm guessing you're not talking about a 3rd party messaging app, I'm moving this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum.
