Most likely a simple question

I am rooted and have the super user app. I used to flash roms with odin on my old phone but never bothered on my Note 2. I am getting update notifications now and I don't care if I remain rooted, but I am afraid if I do the update I will brick my phone. Does any one know if the current updates will do that now that we have Knox and all that, or just return me to stock. I haven't flashed any roms or anything.

I haven't heard anything different so to be safe, I wouldn't accept the update. Why not flash a stock ROM so you don't get the OTA notifications?
