Hi!

Samsung official repair changed the motherboard and the guy when giving me the phone back said "you will have to get an unlock code from Samsung". Samsung asks me to get them from my phone provider, my phone provider from Samsung, I got some codes paying but they did not work.

By the way, the new motherboard has my old imei, they rewritten it. So that company I paid for to get the codes are telling me i would need the original IMEI of the new motherboard (not the rewritten one that came with my phone originally when i bought it).

Ive been 12 days without a phone, nobody has a clue how to help me. All i do is being on endless chats with Samsung, my phone provider, etc.

By the way, as many incorrect attempts were made to enter the NCK now it also asks me for the MCK...

Any advice how to proceed with this? who should give me the codes? do i need the original IMEI of the new motherboard (once again, they rewritten it to my old imei)

Thanks!! and sorry if i wasn't clear enough, im burnt out.

Thats tough situation, but since Samsung fixed the device and changed the motherboard I would think the responsibility falls on them .

That sounds a bit shady to me. I don't see why you'd have to obtain an unlock code from Samsung. Are you talking about a screen lock? Or a carrier unlock code? When you try powering the phone on and setting up the phone, is it asking for someone else's Google or Samsung account?

It is asking me for the MCK (due to many incorrect attempts trying to enter the MCK, the provider made me tried random codes like 0000 and now i need to get the MCK and the NCK.
No it's not the screen lock, Its the phone locked to use with any sim.

So apparently they fixed my phone (let's see tomorrow when i get it) Apparently the motherboard wasn't correctly linked to my IMEI (or thats the explanation they gave me) and they said they also needed to flash the software or the device (can't remember well), what would do they do that for? thanks
