I can double tap my screen off but I can't seem to double tap my screen on I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

no what I mean is I can't double tap it on but I can tap it off o the lockscreen and the motion jesters are on.

I dont think you can tap the screen to turn it off.
I think double tap to wake is it.

Instead, you can add a power button next to Home, Back, etc that will allow you to turn the screen off

You're correct. I tried to double tap to sleep and it didn't work. Double tap to wake works though. i don't use it much though. I have the dot view case and it automatically wakes when I open the cover.

Edit: According to what I've read, you are supposed to be able to double tap to wake and sleep. I can get it to wake, but not to sleep.
