I use my Moto 360 with an iPhone (sort-of, but only for WiFi). Basically, I have an older, non-activated android phone sitting at home on my network, which is configured for Android Wear, and is configured to send notifications for gmail, calendar, outlook, etc. Also, it is configured with my Google Voice phone number for texts. Then, I have pre-configured my Moto 360 to use the WiFi networks I commonly use - at home, at work, and with my iPhone (which I turn on as a hot-spot when on the road or trail). So, essentially I use my iPhone as a Wifi hot-spot to use with Moto 360, when on the road. Most of the time I use the 360, without carrying a phone, to receive alerts, messages, etc. Again, the secret was having an extra android device around the house (my old phone) to initially pair with the 360.
