So I got the invite for Google project Fi and I'm contemplating on which phone to use. I'm trying to save some money since this will be the first time I've ever had to purchase a phone at full retail. With the latest Black Friday deal on the Google Nexus 6 + $300 off on Amazon it's a hard deal to pass up. However, my biggest concern with switching to Google project Fi is I have owned the first two versions of the Motorola MOTO X ( still using the second generation on big red) and I have become obsessed with the Moto applications that come with the Motorola phones. I'm very disappointed the new Moto X Pure isn't compatible on the Google project Fi considering its not far behind Google's ownership as their flagship phone. That being said since Motorola did make the Google Nexus 6 does anyone know if the Moto applications will function on this phone? More specifically the moto apps that automatically reply to text messages as you're driving and allows you to come take complete voice command to reply as you're driving when it's linked to the Bluetooth that is a feature that I do not want to give up. If this is possible it's a slam dunk home run that the phone I'm going to get

The only Motorola apps I've seen available for Nexus 6 are; Motorola Connect, Motorola Migrate, Motorola Body, Droid Zap, Moto Talk, Motorola Car Finder and MOTOACTV. Hope this helps!

I went from a moto x pure edition to a nexus 6. I really missed the "read text out loud" feature while driving. It is not on the nexus 6 although some have said their is a similar feature on a rom called "nexus experience". With that said though, motorola is getting rid of it anyway so it really doesn't matter. I say go for the n6 because of pricing. But size is not for everyone. The 6p is a little easier to manage and hold in your hand.
