Moto Assist with Waze?

I always run Waze when driving. Will Moto Assist still work and read and let me dictate texts while Waze is open and running (I always have Waze muted).

I run Waze when driving everywhere. Will Moto Assist still work and read and let me dictate texts while Waze is open and running (I always have Waze muted).

I don't see any reason why it will not ..assist uses gps engine/ chip under the hood and sensors to determine if you are driving ..it does not depend on what app you are using for navigation.. In fact you don't even have to use any sort of navigation app for assist to detect driving mode it automatically detects..
