Moto Device Manager not installing on Mac El Capitan

[AC Question]

Hi there

I have a moto x play and am trying to download the motorola manager on my mac os x el capitan, but when I install, the application does not appear anywhere on my mac.

I see on the motorola website, the software is applicable to later versions of mac os, is there anyway to get around this?
