Moto Display not working?

After the Lollipop update the moto display feature is not working on my phone. The notifications are not showing on my sleep screen nor is the clock that you can check without actually having to turn on your phone. Is something wrong or did they take this away with the update?

Be sure you aren't set up for Ambient Display instead of Moto.

Ambient display is off. Moto is running but its still not working

I am also facing the same issue.
Ambient Display is off.

I tried to find the ambient display but didn't see the option. Is it where you get the pop ups on the lock screen or is it something else? I disabled the lock screen popups.
