Moto Droid Turbo - any of you using with Gear S2?

I just had to return my S2 because I couldn't get it to work with my Moto Droid Turbo.
Pairing the two made the email app disappear. Plus I couldn't get any notifications at all.
The Samsung rep at Best Buy was stumped and had me try a new S2, but the result was the same.
Wonder if any of you are using a Droid Turbo or know what's going on. I really liked the watch.

I had my Gear S2 paired with a Droid Turbo for the first couple of months I had it. You will not get the "Email" app on your S2 when it's paired to a non-Samsung phone. However, notifications worked just fine on the Droid Turbo - I used Gmail, Inbox, and Outlook apps for email, and notifications worked for all three. You need to ensure that notifications are turned on for each app, using the Samsung Gear Plugin on your phone - it does not turn them on automatically when you pair.

That said, I now have my Gear S2 paired with a Galaxy S6, and using the Gear S2 is a better experience with a Samsung phone.
