Moto droid turbo no camera

[Android Central Question]

I have a Droid turbo 2 on Verizon and the camera worked for maybe two weeks before it started glitching. "Camera error please restart camera" except when you restart it force stop it disenable and reenable it it still doesn't work sometimes it says that plus "if this continues restart your device" sometimes I can fumble with the settings by uninstalling every app clearing all app data one by one and letting the phone die not turning it off SOMETIMES that works. But most of the time it dosent. Besides constantly having to delete everything on my phone is counterproductive to having a phone in the first place the only place my camera works is in message plus the selfie camera works. Help?

Yes it does. Just tried it. Any advice? I have a new baby would love to be able to use my phone AND my camera

If it's also happening in Safe Mode, then it's either a problem with the firmware or the hardware. Not much you can do about the hardware -- but if it's firmware, you can try Verizon's Software Repair Assistant.
